Story of a Girl...

Chapter 1-3

ONCE upon a time [[46 years ago]] a little girl was born in California.

She was the cutest, sweetest little baby, and a wonderful child.

Her mother cherished her and her father adored her. Her brother picked on her. :D

Chapter 17-21

She grew up to become a beautiful, happy, godly woman who caught the eye of a handsome man. They got hitched and lived in beautiful Washington. They started a family, bought a house, had a few cats, lived a happy life and enjoyed each other. The woman was a great mom and wife, and friend to many.

Chapter 22

But to me she was still nameless and faceless. I felt close to her and knew her voice, and I already loved her. But still I didn't know her. Then one day [[my favorite part of the story]] she became my MOMMY!

Chapter 22-44

She was the best mom to me, always giving me everything I needed and wanted. But during those years, she became something more. She became my best friend.

Chapter 45

In 2007 we both experienced one of the hardest times of our lives...we were separated. I had to move to North Carolina because my husband joined the Air Force. We made the best of the move and enjoyed an AWESOME road trip across the country!

She is always enjoying the ride, no matter where it takes her!!

I always think of her when I sit on my porch in the rockers she got us!

I miss talking to her, walking with her, laughing with her, singing with her, just BEING with her. She is just so AMAZINGLY wonderful to me, I just wish I could be with her all the time! Especially tomorrow, AUGUST 17th, which just happens to be the day that this story began almost 46 years ago. You know, Mama, that though we're WAY too far apart in miles, that our hearts are always entertwined [[sounds so...intimate, doesn't it??]] So therefore, I WILL be there, celebrating with all of you! I want to wish you the very best birthday, and I'm so glad God made you mine!! You are my best...
