jaws of life

i got this thing. it's for my mouth, and it is supposed to help my jaw feel better. [[i have severe TMJ, and i have absolutely no idea what that means besides my jaw clicks & pops & locks up & is very painful & it is hard to talk & sing sometimes]]

i was so excited to get this "splint" as they call it, because i thought the popping would finally come to an end. but no such luck. it is just a glorifed mouthguard. so far it has mostly just made my teeth ache, but we will give it a try for a little longer.

i am thankful that i had the opportunity to see a specialist & i'm excited to see if my symptoms improve!
