365 days

a year already??

perhaps it's because the first four months in n.c. were a blur of sadness & depression, but it sure doesn't seem like it's been a year here in this dry, HOT southern state! but then again, HOME feels like practically a distant memory since i have only been there ONCE since i left. :(

i've learned a lot this year, & i feel like i've grown up too. as painful & hard & lonely as this time has been, i'm glad God allowed it to happen. plus He has given me some pretty sweet friends here. [[make new friends, but keep the old!!]]

one thing sticks out in my mind from those first months...getting our pup & our kitten! the kids sure have grown up fast! we just celebrated their first birthdays, just two weeks apart.

they are so much fun! we had a little party for each of them, complete with a double cheeseburger for Zo & chicken nuggets for Tob. and party favors for both, naturally.

these guys keep me company & i'm so glad they are a part of my life!
