HAPPY MAMA'S DAY!
for those of you who know my mama, you already know what i'm about to say.
for those of you who don't, she is the most amazing woman in the world!
she is my mom, but she is my best friend.
i don't have enough room on these pages to communicate all that she is to me.
i was about to try, but i erased it because to put it into words somehow seems to almost belittle what she means to me. but mom, go read that letter i wrote you last year around mother's day, right after i moved. even that can't quite express it, and you know it!
there is really no need to try & explain it to you, my beautiful mama. you already know.
so to the woman who gave birth to me, happy mother's day...
to my best friend, I LOVE YOU more than words can say!

Hi Sarah- this is Mrs. Wick! I just got your great letter today and was so excited to be updated on your life and all that is happening. Thanks so much for sending that to us. It was also fun for me to get to see both your Mom and Rachel's blog - your family is very spread out these days! I agree with you that your Mom is one very special lady. Even though we were only together one year, and that was long ago, I am still grateful for the impact that she left on my life. You are truly blessed to have her and I know without a doubt that you will be every bit the mother that she was to you. Lord, bless Sarah and Mark as they start on this journey of adoption. I pray that every roadblock would be removed and that you would miraculously provide their every need!! It will be such a delight to check your blog now and then and find out the latest.
